FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Three Kingdoms Reimagined adds online co-op and versus to its free Steam demo ahead of Steam Next Fest

Solo-developed strategy game set in 196 AD lets two players share a campaign or meet each other in live battles

October 2026. Three Kingdoms Reimagined, a real-time strategy game set at the end of the Han dynasty, now has online multiplayer in its free Steam demo. Two players can start a campaign in the same world, either as allies who share their wars or as rivals racing to the strongest position after fifty days. They can also face each other in one-on-one custom battles. The demo is playable now and takes part in Steam Next Fest from October 19 to 26. The game comes to Steam Early Access in Q4 2026.

Three Kingdoms Reimagined is made by one developer, Jeremy Cabaccang. Players lead a single house through the warlord era, choosing one of seven historical rulers, including Cao Cao, Liu Bei, Sun Ce and Lu Bu, or creating their own. On a pausable real-time campaign map they decide where to expand, hold council with named officers and send them out on tasks. When armies meet, the game switches to real-time battles and sieges, and casualties, wounds and captures carry back into the campaign.

Multiplayer is new and still being tested by players on different PCs and connections. Bug reports are welcome.
