About the game
Three Kingdoms Reimagined puts you in charge of one house at the end of the Han dynasty. Start as one of seven historical rulers, among them Cao Cao, Liu Bei, Sun Ce and Lu Bu, or create a ruler of your own.
On a pausable real-time campaign map you decide where to expand, hold council with named officers and send them out to do the work. When armies meet, the game switches to real-time field battles and sieges. Casualties, wounds and captured officers carry back into the campaign, so a battle's outcome shapes what you can do next.
The game is made by one developer, Jeremy Cabaccang. It reaches Steam Early Access in Q4 2026, and the free demo covers the first fifty campaign days.
Multiplayer
Campaign for two
Both players start in the same 196 AD world, each running their own court. As allies they share their wars and their view of the map, and one can march to the other's battle and join it mid-fight. As rivals they compete over fifty days in the demo, and when their armies meet the battle is fought live between them.
One-on-one custom battles
Draft officers, buy troops on a budget and fight over Steam lobbies (friends or public) or a direct connection.
Multiplayer is new and still being tested between real players on different PCs and connections. Bug reports are very welcome on Discord.

Announcement trailers
Recorded September 30–October 1, 2026. These announcement trailers show staged battles; the allied contingent is game-controlled, and versus footage uses automated stand-in players. They include full-game Turning Points beyond the demo's 50-day window. Newer October 5 development gameplay is below. 1080p60 masters are available on request.
Current gameplay: The Emperor's Captors
Cao Cao decides to fight the emperor's captors, leads his army into battle and brings the result back to court. Watch on Bilibili.
Full development build, captured October 5 from source 39c71b9c; gameplay, UI, art, audio and localization match source c7562ee8 used for the October 5 demo package. This is development footage; the Steam full game available to press still dates from October 1. Single-player, with a staged day-six event save and forces, scripted inputs, auto-battle and game-controlled enemies. The simulation determined the result. Army details were recorded separately from the same setup; the campaign report was recreated from that battle's actual result. Edited demonstration at original speed with game audio; no human multiplayer opponent. This early event falls within the demo's 50-day window. Some art and music used generative AI assistance; character voices are synthetic.

This gallery matches the October 1–2 Steam refresh. The joint battle is staged on one game copy with a game-controlled ally. Multiplayer and campaign-for-two screens use automated stand-in players. The Last Coalition shows the full development game, beyond the demo, and is not a campaign-for-two event. Older direct-download URLs remain available for recipients of the original kit.
